Dancing under the sea

Strike a pose on the catwalk before prom. As prom night draws closer, so does the need for finding the best attire to wear to the event. The annual fashion show, organized by the Associated Student Body, gives a small preview about the clothes they can rent or buy for prom. The fashion show, taking place April 13 in Patriot Plaza during lunch, will include ASB students modeling outfits as well as a performance by the disk jockey that will perform at the dance. The show gives students planning to attend the dance some ideas as to what they could wear on prom night. This promotion gives business to local formal clothing stores, such as Windsor and Friar Tux Shop, and possible locations from which students can buy their dream outfit.

“Some ASB students dress up in clothes provided by some tuxedo and dress businesses from Escondido to show off and basically say ‘hey, you could wear this to prom’ to other students interested in attending the prom dance,” ASB Adviser Brian Gallo said.
