What’s your sine?

When thinking of math, most go to the acronym of ‘Mental Abuse To Humans’; however, it can also be the best time of your life. The annual Calc Camp took place April 27 at the Pali Retreat in Running Springs, Calif. Advanced Placement Calculus students get the chance to relax, get away from the city and explore the outdoors, all while studying for the AP exam. This year Calc Camp was led by AP Calculus teacher Tia D’Asaro, accompanied by AVID tutors as chaperones. This was also the first year Advanced Placement Statistics students were invited to the retreat. Some of the activities done at Calc Camp are zip-lining, archery, karaoke, movie nights, campfire and smores and the traditional night hike.
